I guess we sort of ask for it in a way..We like to give the ones that everybody has given up on a chance for a little more time more. We took in "Snoopy" when his owners said he had to be put down because he had too much wrong with him. He was a severe diabetic. He lived 2 more years and was a great little guy. And "Nortie" had cushing's disease, and severe allergies, and was 15 yrs old, he only made it about 6 more months..And our little princess "Little Bit" We took her in Dec.2004, the vet said she was between 10 and 14, and such horrible condition that she couldn't possible make it. She's still here. lol
Makes it all worthwhile when we can give them a little more "quality time."

Yeah Ruth, the ones on the banner are gone now. That's their little plot now, there with the crosses. It's out of date tho. I have some more to add. And the crosses are gone now. They each have a head stone marker..Really must get it updated, it's in their memory.
